Last Friday ARCHES was honored to attend a celebration of the legacy of Chris Peeples.

For more than two decades, Chris faithfully served the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit) with vision, humility, and unwavering dedication to equity and sustainability. As Board President and Vice President, he was a champion for underserved communities, accessibility for persons with disabilities, and the vital role of public transit in creating a more just
and environmentally responsible future.

Chris will be remembered not only for his leadership and contributions to transformative projects, but also for his kindness, integrity, and lifelong commitment to public service. His legacy continues to inspire those of us working to advance clean energy and transportation solutions.

We honor his life with deep gratitude and extend our sympathy to his family, friends, and the AC Transit community.
