Today marks the ninth annual National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day, which recognizes the significant benefits hydrogen energy and fuel technologies play in enriching our communities and safeguarding our planet. As California strives to meet our ambitious climate goals, the integration of hydrogen solutions will not only contribute to a healthier environment but also drive economic growth and innovation. By embracing hydrogen as a clean energy source, we are paving the way for a healthier environment and a more sustainable future for all.
ARCHES is proud to be one of the inaugural U.S. Department of Energy H2Hubs that will form a clean hydrogen network to help achieve our nation’s climate goals. This landmark initiative represents one of the largest investments in clean manufacturing and jobs in U.S. history, and we’re thrilled to be leading the way alongside the six other H2Hubs across America.
Together, the H2Hubs will eliminate 25 million metric tons of CO2 emissions from end uses each year – roughly equivalent to over 5.5 million gasoline-powered cars.
